Dr. Bercik does not require a referral for you to be seen. You should verify with your insurance company though to see if you require a referral for insurance purposes. If so, your Primary Care Physician submits referrals to your insurance company. Contact your Primary Care office staff for verification and follow up with your insurance company if you feel there was a processing error. Yes! In addition to his fellowship training in Shoulder & Elbow and Fracture Care, Dr. Bercik also completed an Orthopedic residency which enables him to see and diagnose a wide range of Orthopaedic issues. If you require a surgery that he does not perform regularly, Dr. Bercik may refer you to one of his partners who is specialized in that surgery.
